Are Nitto 555 any good at drag strip

i ran the 555dr on the street and track lots of spin on the street w/ 20lbs air in them they were alot better on the track tho

amer. muscle sells this one NITTO Extreme Performance NT555 Tire (255/45-18) is this same one you are referring to or are you talking about a race tire?

That would be the street tire. IMO excellent tire on the street not the best tire at the track, but what do you expect? It's not a race tire.

For the price, they are an excellent tire. I wouldn't hesitate getting these tires again.

My tires hook really good in warm weather. Cold, not so much.

I usually have my DRs on anytime I'm going out to play.

well I could care less who can beat who,I running stock, and only reason I jumped in here was to get some thoughts on nitto tires cuz the only tires that AM offers is nitto or sumi's, which are crap, thanks gman....if I feel the need to blow someones doors off I'll just borrow my neighbors 18 mpg saleen....running 1200 hp..lol
