Default TPS and Fuel Trim readings are HIGH! Help!!

So I am getting my car dynoed and tuned today and when we hooked it up to the HP Tuners software, we noticed that my TPS was at 13% at idle. We also noticed that the Long term fuel trim on both banks was at 20%.

Does anyone find it strange that the fuel trim was so high when ideally it is suppose to be at 1% or so?

And how do we get the TPS to read 0% when at idle?

**I have the BBK TB and MMR annihilator CAI installed.

Swapping a CAI without a tune can easily jack up the tune. The TPS at 13 seems pretty normal to me. Get it tuned and your trims should be within 5%

What about the TPS being only at 77% at wide open throttle???

that seems ok too. I normally look at counts not %, so i can't say for sure, but i would consider that normal.

So in theory, why wouldn't the TPS read 0 at idle and 100 at WOT? That doesn't make sense to me.

Not sure. There are tons of things in the tune that don't always make perfect sense. TPS is a relative thing and doesn't need to be at 0 or 100 for the ecu to operate correctly. I believe its probably like that to allow for sensor variations.

My TPS sits at 3 % and is 100% WOT.
It does not sit at 0% no throttle ever.
Even with the gas pedal throttle lag
reducing adjustable stop mod installed.
Have you calibrated the gas pedal lately.
Disconnected the battery lately?

My tps reads 77% at WOT as well. Not sure what it is at idle. My long term fuel trims are usually 7% or less though.

Well, I have not solved the TPS issue yet but the fuel trim levels, now after being tuned, have dropped to 3-6%. Gained 30RWHP after being tuned by HP Tuners software. Still trying to figure out the TPS though.
