just as an fyi my speedo and gps are damn near dead nuts on in my 05 gt, if i understand correctly the oem cutoff is 142 mph, i had 141 on my gps

My speedometer has been dead nuts accurate when compared against a radar gun even at speeds in excess of 120mph. It seems the technology has come a long way.

You will have to increase your horsepower to get the results you want. I added cams, Lts and xpipe with high flow cats to get an extra 31 hp. You won't need a supercharger to get to those numbers.

All they are changing is the speedo to look cool. The car is a brick.

my 93 RX-7 went up to 180. Not even in that car would I ever go that fast. 160 as fast as I ever went, and that was in an SRT-4. Never again!

I like torque now. I have to... my GT tops out at 135 with the 410s with the O/D off.

Just buy a GPS and add a supercharger and you'll be going plenty fast.
I have taken my supercharged GT to 168 MPH

Well, it's rice only at this point, but the car should have some cajones to back up the speedo in the next 6 months. The reprogramming of the cluster at Saleen was $100, got the applique off of ebay.
