Default Hurst Short throw W/ Pics

Ok, I just installed a Hurst shifter. It was kind of a pain in the A$$, but WELL worth it! What a difference.

First, the instructions that come with the Hurst SUCK! I used the Rouch instructions instead. I would have went with the Rouch, however I didnt like how tall it was. Just my opinion.

I have heard that some people were lowering there transmission, however It wasnt necessary. Even though its VERY tight, you can finagle the shifter in through the top. I bought a set of flex head ratcheting wrenches and they really helped.

Good luck

Very nice! I went with the Roush shifter, but opted out of the tall, billet shift arm; hence, my Roush shifter is the same height as the factory shifter.

looks nice! Im actually having trouble with the stock set up. When I shift into 3 I sometimes seem to hit the space between gears, so I have essentially try again! No idea what it is, maybe the angle of my shifts sometimes but it gets annoying. back to topic, I like the white ball looks cool. How much do shops normally charge to the work?
