Hey,

Been thinking of doing a Cam only on my 2010 GT...but wanted to see if anyone has done the Heads as well at the same time.

From what i've heard...with the Heads/Cam setup, you can expect around 350rwhp vs about 320 from the Cam only.

My problem is that the Heads/Cam setup will run about $5k-5.5 installed/tuned compared to about $2000-2.3k for the Cam only installed/tuned.

So, has anyone actually done the Heads/Cam package? I figured when you are paying that type of money...it'd prob be better off spending another 1k-1.5k and just get a supercharger...but I really would love to hear your opinions if you have done the heads.

Also...anyone know of any good shops in Maryland that can do the work/tune?

CJ Pony parts is just north of harrisburg pa. I use them for some parts and questions and they have been helpful. I've never used them for installs myself, but they are mustang folks and not too far from md depending on where you're at.

I'll be doing this in a month or less, I'm waiting on cams to arrive right now, I'll post the results as soon as I have them.

Damn. A nice set of heads and a cam for a LSx is under $2k. This is news to me.
Sorry, multiple F-body/Vette owner mindset kicking in, lol.

I think just go for the cams, they sound awesome. Also either of these will definitely void your new warranty.
