Default 2009 GT Rear O2s sensor/Bassani Catted X

I put a catted Bassani X on my 2009 GT/CS a couple weeks ago. It threw a code and I can't find anywhere on my handheld to turn the rear O2s off. I hooked the same handheld (SCT-F3) to my Mach, and right away I found an option to turn the rears off. Anyway, I cleared the code, but it keeps coming on saying the car has "insufficient catalyst". My question is, can you turn the rear 02s off on an S197, or am I going to have to put the stock H back on to pass inspection and get this damn CEL to turn off?

Nevermind, I think I figured it out. You can turn off the rear sensors with a Diablo, but if you have an SCT like I do, you're SOL.

i was pretty sure that was the case, but i didn't
want to be the bearer of bad news....

of course the other option is to have a tuner update
the tune.

With either/any device, it's in the tune that gets saved to the ECU. SCT doesn't let you turn them on/off in the tuner, but you can with the tuning software.

So there's hope then? I'm headed back to the shop Thursday to see what we can do. I really want to hang on to this Bassani.

To pass inspection I believe the rear o2's have to be turned on. Even without a code being sent I believe the inspection station will get some sort of "Not Ready" reading. So I think you'll need to throw that stock mid-pipe back on for inspection.

If the O2s are off, you wont pass inspection. It will read as not ready.
My 07 can pass detuned with this pipe...

I have the Bassani Catted x on my 07 gt. and i get the code popping up on my stang as well. If i tune it back to stock can i pass the emissions test? My main worry is that i have mods on my car and if i go back to stock i know it wont run right, but i can drive it for the sake of emissions, yes or no?
