Hot Rods are in!
Hot Rod cams are in, and I love em! I put these in yesterday afternoon at work. I started about 12:30 and finished up at 3:30. I installed the cams, steeda delete plugs, and a JLT intake. The install went very smooth and was alot easier then I thought before starting. I did not use any ford tools and just used some suggestions that I found on the forums. Chris at Tillman did the tune for me which is spot on as usual. The first fire up with the new mods was a little nerve racking but it fired right up without an issue. I let it idle for about 10 minutes while checking the valve covers for leaks. All is well so I take her out for a spin and it drives amazing. I was worried about keeping the driveability of the car since its my daily and only car for that matter. Chris did an awesome job with the tune as all the bad stories I have read are certainly not true with his tune. If some of you guys are hesitant about doing cams I would say go for it. If your local I would even help with the install. If you guys have any worries or question I would def call up Chris at Tillman and talk to him. Chris answered alot of my questions and concerns. Im sure he was tired of hearing from me lol but I do tons of research before I jump into something so im prepared for it. So anyway I made a quick video for you guys so this thread is not completely boring. Had a little issue at first cus my girlfriend couldnt reach the clutch pedal lol. I will soon make a better video that I can put on youtube but this is good for now. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Branman, I asked you this before and you didn't answer: Are you concerned with warranty issues? If it throws a CEL, do you have a local dealer that won't instantly blame your modifications?
On a side note, how much did Tillman charge for the JLT intake? Is that the one where part of the pipe is color matched to your paint?

Not really concerned with warranty. If it throws a CEL I dont think I would take it to the dealer anyway at this point. Im not sure what I was charged for everything cus it was given to me as a total with cams, steeda plugs, and intake.
