Default Question for anyone with Flowmaster American Thunders on 2010 GT

Do the tips that come on the Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-back systems, part # 17410, have long enough tips, i.e. to match what comes on the 2010 GT stock?

In this link, it doesn't seem so . . .

Well, I ordered them, so hopefully they will work. Supposedly, the tips are long enough.

I wanted loud, but not abnoxious, and I didn't want to spend the $600-$800 on the Corsas.

A lady in our mustang club has some that she bought off another member. They were on a 2007 Mustang GT. They looked like they came out far enough on her car. I will ask her for a pic of the rear

They will look fine. I have them and they don't come out as far but those 4" tips look Great.

Thank you, both.

Larry -- are they loud? I don't think listening to them on YouTube really gives me an accurate flavor.

I'm hoping they are significantly louder than stock at idle and partial load, not just WOT . . .

I have the quiet ones(not the square ones) and love the way they sound. Not that loud but sound better after a few thousand miles. I posted mine on here about a week ago if you want to hear them.

I have a set in the garage and the tips do not stick out as far as the stock ones. They still look OK though. I think you'll be dissapointed in the way they sound. Not much louder than the stock mufflers IMO. I ended up getting the PYPES and they sound great.

They really do break in if you give it time.

I wonder if it's possible that you got the wrong set the first time. I can't imagine they fabricated something special for you, but maybe I'm wrong.
