1/4 mile Vortech?

http://www.alternativeauto.com/water....html#methanol

what do you all think about this article?? claims to run 12.0@112 with only loose torque converter, 3:73 gears, delete plates, the vortech v3 non-intercooled, w/315/35/r20s out back.
STOCK everything else. I know it'll feel like spinning boat anchors, but they should "hook" because of less aggression.

Not saying it's BS or anything. What are my chances of replicating those results (or possibly better because of the 4.10s/headers) with just a rim/tire change over??

some great times, if it's true..

:D

Most I have heard are people running mid-high 12s with this blower..

Not happening, heat soak is a killer on times with the standard kit.

Ditto.. they should at least have a smaller air to air intercooler as an option.. piping is cheap and so is the couplers. A small price to pay for somewhat cooler intake temps. I hate running 13 friggin' 9s when I can pull some 12.5s when it's cooled down. But than again, what did I expect running an "non-intercooled" kit.. the name itself imply's "hot air intake" lol

$3,8900??

Friggin' A.. should be more like $2,300 like Vortech sells them.. but hey, that's business. :icon_slap2::icon_spitball:

All and all.. I still like the kit very much rofl
