2005 MUSTANG GT CLUTCH!!
I have a 2005 mustang gt and about a week ago there was a noise in the tranny when i put my foot on the clutch it went away. i was told it is the throw out bering.. and just yesterday there is fluid coming from the tranny.. and my clutch went to the floor no pressure.. now im told its the slave cylinder but doess my car have a throw out bering or slave cylinder? i tried to order the clutch kit from a parts stoare and they cant get it.. please help!!

The thow out bearing is part of the slave cylinder. Might as well replace the clutch while you have the tranny out.

Slave cylinder/throw out bearing are both terms used to describe what is used in the mustang manual transmission to release the clutch plate. It's nothing more than a hydraulic spring that rides on the input shaft of the transmission. The end cap has bearings in it so it can spin with the flywheel/clutch.
