Default High Beam Indicator, TOO BRIGHT!!!!

Am I the only one that thinks our High Beam Indicator is blinding? I can see better with my low beams on and my driving lights because the High Beam indicator is so f-ing bright it blinds me. Sometimes I find myself sticking my microfiber dash rag in the instrument cluster to keep it from being so distracting. Any ideas? Bulb change possible???

A few years ago I replaced my stock gauge face overlay with a white gauge face overlay. That was something I noticed right away, the high beam indicator was way too bright. I saw a post at that time advising to put a piece of colored plastic over the back of the overlay, just over the HB indicator. It isn't a bulb, but an LED. I recently changed from the white face overlay to a stainless steel piece. With this one it seems they got it right. Not really much you can do about it without removing the gauge face overlay.

It's there to remind you what oncoming drivers are going through.

I don't even know what my high beam indicator looks like. Never used my high beams.
