Does anyone sell a built 4.6 or 5.0 3v motor for these cars that is essentially ready to be dropped right in with no building or major assembly required?

Did you check with Ford. I think I saw they have one complete and ready to drop in. It even includes the computer and wiring harness.

There are a couple of places that build these engines, and you can get them in any state of build you want. Do a google search and you'll find them.

I looked on fordracing and the only 3v crate motor there is just a stock motor with painted valve covers and hot rod cams. Not a built motor with forged parts.

Rip, check the JDM website. i remember they came out
with a line of long blocks not too long ago.....

If you contact these guys they'll build it however you want it. They're pricy, but you get what you pay for though. From what I've seen on this forum they know ther stuff. http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/

Regarding a builder like livernois. I wonder how what they offer compares to the saleen crate motor I linked in the OP. It's pretty pricey but it's got everything the Dr. ordered.
