02 sensors/cats fubar'ed?
 

Getting ready to replace my motor soon. Is there a possibility that the o2 sensors and the cats got messed up when my engine blew? It blew up on the highway and I drove it home smoking the entire way until it died around the corner.. got it started and made it to the garage I do work at. smoke was coming out the gaping hole in the block so not so much went through the exhaust... just double checking.. heard it was common for our cats or o2s to clog/malfunction and blow the motor, especially with very rich tunes, which is what I run...

hummm, you might be able to check visually. cats are a honeycomb pattern and you should be able to see through them. or when your motor is back together just watch the boost levels and if they're too high then swap out the cats. I haven't seen a stock cat clogged on the forums yet but I saw the aftermarket ones that killed the guy's motor.
