Default Stealth GT re-born!

Just got my new motor (07, 6k miles) put in today, started right up, kinda smokey at first but runs like a champ! Forgot to adjust the gear ratio and tires/revs so it felt retarded on the test drive.. but after the right tune was in.. she was off!

Its only about 75 up here, but the damn motor sure likes to get hot under the hood! Not feeling too comfortable about blowing HOT air into an already hot motor~! (O_o)?

kinda wary about installing the vortech again right away.. just want to enjoy and appreciate the ride a few more weeks before going supercharged again, IF I do.

Honestly, I might be selling the Vortech and just getting some Detroit rocker cams this summer.. next year go with the Roush r2300/intercooled!

Sorry, no pics. I was on the clock as well as working on other projects so I did not get to take any. Plus the other tech that was helping me kept telling me to hurry up lol He ended up doing a lot of the work, while I was on other jobs in the garage... he did a hell of a job and x2 as fast as I would have.

at the end of the day, my boss kept egging me on for a race with his '84 Vette rofl

... great place to work at, eh? lol

I didnt realize your wheels were down all this time. Congrats on getting a new one. Did the SC blow up the last one?

thanks!
hell yeah it does lol

Gonna bring her in and put her up on the alinment rack and also re-balance the tires.. Took it out yesterday night and it felt really squirrely under throttle for some reason.

Thanks for the technical support as well!

me neither lol

on a side note, gonna take the old motor home.. put her on a stand, take her apart, put her back together, take her apart etc. I want to know this motor inside and out. I'll just need to replace a connecting rod and possibly machine/replace some valves. Yeah.. I have no life!
