Default Help! Rear/Transmission Issue

Ok so i have had this 05 Mustang GT for almost a month now and I just noticed this weird vibration occurring only when im @ 40 - 42 mph. The car starts vibrating from the passenger side and even makes a little noise. It kinda is like going over the warning strips on the side of the interstate but not as loud and only at around 40mph. I only noticed this because i got stuck going 40 in traffic one day and i started feeling the vibration and hearing the noise. ANy ideas? I know this could be just a bent rim or needing balancing but it could be otherwise?

Anyone had this issue? Any TSB?

well like you said it could be wheel related and it might
also be something in the driveline.

What do you mean driveline? Would that be covered under warranty?

well in this case i'm thinking it might be drive shaft or
maybe the pinion angle. i don't know if you have the
stock drive shaft or an aftermarket unit, so it's hard
to say exactly what's happening on your car.

Unless you have an extended warranty, that car is long past its factory one is it not? Any aftermarket wheels put on recently?

Might be the outer Axle Bearing is going out.

Ok, so i had about 400 miles left on the warranty the dealer gave me when i bought the car (2k warranty) and i took it in yesterday...After 6 hours they found the issue! I need new transmission mounts. They are double checking everything and trying to order the part via warranty

Well, I was way off. At least they're checking everything under warranty. It's strange a mount could could go that quickly in a newer car.
