LCA's? Good brands but not expensive?
 

I am getting 4.10's and Cams put in and I think it might be a good idea to go ahead and throw on a set of LCA's to help with that wheel-hop I already have.

Can someone suggest to me some good sets with links?

The UMI parts are pretty cheap but good quality for the $.

I talked to the shop that is going to install my 4.10's and cams.
He said that contrary to most people's belief, many times the 4.10's can lessen the wheel hop.

He advised me to wait until I got the 4.10's and cams installed and then see how it drives.
He said if I wanted to add the LCA's later they would do it and give me a great deal on the labor since I know people that have gone there alot.

I like it when shops don't try to sell you shiat just to make money. I believe I'll take his advice.

As far as I'm concerned there is no other brand than BMR. After I started using their suspension components, I never had the desire to buy anything else.

The best LCA's hands down are from C.H.E., they're tube steal, powder coated, poly bushing with a Delrin sleeve for lubrication. I installed those on my car recently and what difference. I had a set of billet ones but these ride much much better worth the extra 1lb per arm weight over any billet. C.H.E. has a far superior part then ANY other brand and they're inexpensive $139.99 and if you dig around you can find them with free shipping.

Another question....are the poly's really that much of noise makers?

Poly's will make noise, most manufacturers will have a grease fitting to lube them every so often but that weakens the bushing. C.H.E. uses a Delrin sleeve for lubrication keeping the entire bushing intact and no need for lubrication the Delrin is permanent.

I've heard of people getting good results from GT500 LCA's. Yeah, they don't look as great on paper with all the name brand aftermarket marketing material. But I hear get the job done.

If I have wheel hop after lowering, my first try is going to be some GT500 takeoff LCA's.

Some companies still put grease fittings on arms with a Delrin race around the bushings. Greasing them - I think it's an optional type of thing.

Poly bushings, at least on just the lowers (both chassis and axle attachment points) increased the noise in my car but it was barely noticeable.
