Changing low and high fan temps on sct

Changing low and high fan temps on sct
I actually used the search and didnt find what i was looking for lol.
Has anyone changed the low or high fan temps? i was thinking about lowering my low fan temp but i dont know if it would even do anything. I was just hoping to gain a few horses by possibly keepin her a lil cooler. Is there any point to lowering the temp(or high temp for that matter)? is there a temp i shouldnt go below because it might hurt something, perfomance or actual engine damage wise? Thanks and sorry for the ignorance.

keeping the engine cooler is always a good thing...running the fan only will not do much...the best way is changing the thermostat to a 160 degree...I did this to my 06 GT 3 yrs ago and then dropped the fan setting also...
