well good to know i'm not the only one without the dowels.....

i put a warning on my PP that there are no dowels. i don't want some unsuspecting mechanic to lose any toes.

If I change out gears they will be 4.10. I keep thinking that stock GT500's came with 3.31 and I have 3.55 plus more power so maybe it will be ok.
Yup the GT500s do have 3.31 gears. It will easily do 80-85 mph in 2nd gear with the way the GT500s are geared from the factory. I would think you would be ok with the 3.55. As far as with mine, I will more than likely go with 3.73 gears in my 500 just to make the car a little funnier to drive. I dont plan on going to crazy with the power mods so i should be ok. And congrats on doing this and thanks for documenting this for others. If i still had my GT i would be looking into doing the same thing.
