Default GTA mufflers on a 2010?

I know the tips may need a little adjustment to clear the valance but what I'm wondering about is sound versus the stock '10 mufflers.

I have a friend with a stock '09 and my car sounds relatively louder/throatier. I've never heard GTA's in person but I have read some folk saying they aren't much louder than stock '05-'09 mufflers.

Has anyone heard them and also heard a stock '10 GT? I would like slightly more volume but I really like the sound of the stock mufflers.

I have thus far tried Magnaflow 16573 (way too quiet) and SSS Adrenaline (way too loud).

Any help appreciated!

I have read that the GTAs and the 2010 stock axle backs sound identical.

Assuming the stock muffs on the '10 are the same as on the '05-'09, it's possible that the minor amount of additional air INTAKE and tune on the '10 simply makes the exhaust note a tad deeper. You should be able to verify what is installed OE on your '10 vs your buddy's '09.

5230-MGTC or MGTL would be an ideal upgrade.

Yeah, I'd jump on the MGTC's if they weren't $700 !!

You should try comparing the Magnaflow 16573 to the Magnaflow 16574. I'm sure there are some 16574 videos out there. I love mine. Just the right volume, no drone.

Wonder why you never see those on newtakeoff?

I got mine off fleabay; you'll see sets there pretty often.

The sound is throatier than stock with a little more volume and burble with no drone and still very neighbor friendly.

I thought I noticed a set for sale on another forum; here's the link: http://s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38166

Yeah you can normally find them for about $120 shipped. Sound very similar to GTAs. And you cant find them on newtakeoff because they take off stock GT mufflers for these.
