The loudmouths are too much with my cams, long tubes, and catted x pipe.

Hey guy i'm about to upgrade to cams kooks l/t headers and an x pipe . I have boom tubes now love their sound, are you telling me it will be so loud i can't bare it?

Very possible man.
I loved my loudmouths before I got the long tubes and catted x pipe.

Mine is very loud at startup with the loudmouths and the longtubes etc.
I kinda liked that part... I could take it.

However...
You simply CANNOT get on the pedal beyond 2k RPM without sound BLASTING. I mean it is BEYOND loud.
And it also does a huge BLAP BLAP BLAP when you are really getting on the pedal too.

As much as I loved the loudmouths... they gotta go with this setup. Boomtubes are very close to loudmouths from what I have heard. I would imagine you are going to be in the same boat.

If you have and OFF ROAD X pipe... you will DEFINITELY be in the same boat. Remember ... mine is a catted x pipe.

Without the cats there is no way that thing is not going to be even louder than my setup.
BTW... I also ran into a HORRIBLE resonance problem. My dash vibrated like it was going to fall apart. When I put the stock mufflers back on.... it took care of "almost" all of the problem (at least for now it has I think).
The leftover may be something else they are looking at.

But I tell you it is going to be INSANE as far as the Boomtubes with your setup.
Be prepared to get some mufflers just in case.

Pm'd. By chance do you have a sound clip of the BBK catted x with long tubes and SLPs? Thats what I would be doing with these.

what abouut the slp loudmouths and just your X pipe...was that ear splitting too? or did you run the LT and Xpipe at the same time so cant really say?

i ran pypes o/r xpipe with slp lm's and it sounded like nascar. Sound around 2k was horrible only really when you went on it was what i liked about it SCREAMEDDD haha. Cruising though sucked

What about Pype Bombs with your settup? I've read good things about these.
