Lets see 15hp at $170.00 = $11.33 a horse compared to 25hp at $700.00 = $28.00 a horse that's a no brainer

It says 9 hp and 4 tq on the website. That's 18.77 per HP.

I still would have chosen differently. But if you're happy, good for you.

The no brainer is, with all else being equal, me watching you in my rear view mirror. We pay to play... and win.

Only because of the Bullitt tune on the '10 for that additional 15 crank HP over the '05 thru '09. Once you throw a CAI & custom tune on them both they're equivalent in RWHP.

+1 again!

N00b - the 2010s also put on some pounds over the 05-09. Don't forget to factor that in...

Also, when you realize that you should have installed a CAI/tune in the first place, you will be throwing that $170 out the window when you actually do it.

No question that they are both great cars and both are fun to drive. The question was about the Ford Racing filter/tune package being worth $170.

As for 3.73 vs 3.55... a 5% lower gear isn't going to yield you much. Now if you had a CAI/tune... LOL
