hello, i am new here and new to the stang..i have the pypes axleback on the car now which was already installed when i bought it...i am wondering if my car has 2 cats or 4..magnaflow is trying to tell me 4 but when i got under it i saw 2 so i am confused where they are getting this, also i had one other person say the same...The only mods on the car is airaid intake and pypes axleback..

also i am thinking of getting a x pipe but i want a catted x pipe, does anyone know of one that will not throw the cel? i live in ny state and dont want problems with inspection...thanks in advance for info.

The S197 only has 2 cats..dont know where theyre getting 4 ,unless theyre mistaking it for the SN-95. hi-flow catted pipes wont usually throw any cels because youll still have cats. the magnaflow catted X would probably be youre best bet for emissions testing.

def only 2 cats, i have a Magnaflow 'magnapack' cat-back and it has 2 cats also. and that catted x from magnaflow should be fine too
