Belt or pulley squeal?
I have a 99 gt with around 134k on it, all of they pulleys are still stock but I replaced the serpentine belt a few months back (about 10k). the reason for the replacement was because the belt had gone bad and was squealing all the time. The squealing stopped once the new belt was put on, but recently, i will hear a faint squeal/squeak after hard acceleration (flooring it) while driving. It has never done this before (or i have never noticed it), but its just a faint squeak once i let off the accelerator and let the rpms idle down. Is this a pulley issue or should i replace the belt again because it's slipping?

no, i have not replaced the idler pulley yet, but today i was out driving and was at a stoplight and the car died on me, and the squeaking begun again but was continuous for about 10 miles or so. after some inspection later, it appears i have a very slight wobble coming from the idler pulley, as well as the finish is wearing off on the edge, where the belt shouldnt go. will get back once i have replaced the pulley
