Default If you have 4.10s please help.

I am trying to decide on gears. It is between 3.73s and 4.10s. I am leaning toward the 4.10s since I only have a 4 mile commute and won't do much highway driving. So my question is what RPM are you guys with 4.10s turing around 70-75 mph? I tried to do some searching but couldn't really find what I was looking for. Thanks.

Check out my video...

This is an automatic though, so if you have a manual your RPM's will be *slightly* lower. Will give you an idea though.

Dont hesitate with this topic. Get the 410's. I have them in my auto and love them. My MPG went up and 70 mph drive is fine when ur talking about rpms. Im currently away for work but come tomorrow i can let u know what the rpms are at 70.

ON a side note when u look for an installer be sure to find someone that has done this many times. Any gear whine is unacceptable

Cool, thanks for the vid. I did forget to mention that I have a manual. I am thinking that 4.10s are definitely the way to go.

I spent the better part of two years trying to decide what gears, 4.10 or 3.73. Finally went with the 4.10's and have loved every minute of it. You'll love the 4.10's!

4.10's will run you about 2.5 RPM at 70 MPH in 4th.
2nd I'm not sure.

Anyways. Don't even consider the 3.73's.
You will be dissapointed. The difference won't be enough.
For those with superchargers maybe but 90 percent of those out there
with 3.73's non F.I. wished they had gone 4.10's.

As a matter of fact later on down the line I may go with a more aggresive gear than my 4.10's.

4.10's or go home.

If you have an auto, you do need to have the shift points adjusted. Otherwise you can just adjust via the hand held. You will want to have tires that can grip.

Keep in mind that 5th is a .68 overdrive. 4.10's will be fine for highway driving. 4.56's would be better

4.10s all the way. Car will feel so much snappier. In traffic I click off the OD and just a touch of throttle and the car is hauling *** passing cars. Go for it dude.
