Not by a long-shot. Glad to hear you got it covered though.

Now here's the million dollar question, did the actual manifold go bad or did the plates attached to the bottom with the IMRC butterflies stop functioning? If there was a "flow" issue I would have to think the charge motion plates weren't operating correctly thus causing your issue.

Either way, congrats.

Just for future reference. Stock intakes can be had for under $100 on this and many other mustang forums and ebay. It takes less than an hour to r&r one. If it were me I wouldn't have anything more to do with this dealer.

Where in Texas are you?

There's plenty of us around with GOOD used intakes for sale for $100 or less.

More than $200 for what you had done is just ripping you off big time.

Went and picked the car up last night after work, cost me $360.36 to get the oil/filter changed (I was lazy this quarter otherwise I do it myself) and have the gasket leak repaired and the gaskets replaced. Since I picked it up, I notice much better performance, and my gas mileage, I was told, should get better now that the leak is fixed.

He did say something about plates not moving correctly, I'm assuming that's what he was talking about. But he told me I need a new manifold regardless. But yes, praise the lord it's covered under power-train hahaha, I'm also glad to hear that my CAI could by no means cause these issue, so they should have no problem fixing whatevers wrong with it.

You guys have been awesome, just wanted to let you know that!

So now......

What are the next few things I should do to my car, aftermarket wise??

So, I was able to pickup:

Shorty 8'' Antenna
Headlight Blackouts
Tail Light Blackouts
8000 HID Upgrade Kit (Head & Fog)
Chin Spoiler (Unpainted)
Roush Scoop and Quarter Louvers (Unpainted)
and a new BBK Filter....

All for 600 bucks....woot!

I knew there was a reason I always repped Americanmuscle.com stickers on my car
