which torque convertor should I go with?
I need to get a torque convertor.. I have narrowed it down to a PI triple disc for 899 at Lighting Force, a PTC convertor triple disc for 550 from PTC or a Circle D triple disc 248mm for 959.. My question is the PI and Circle D that much better ? The PTC uses a stock core, but then installs new fins, stator and also builds it with a anit-balloning plate.. Where as the PI and the Circle D are new billet cores with Kevlar clutches.. I am leaning towards the Circle D just want to know what other people think....

Well I ordered a PTC convertor, beefed stock unit with anit-balloning plate and a Shaftmasters 3.5 inch direct bolt in drive shaft... Now I just get to wait... think I'll go with 3.73's.. Next round of mods will be a Steeda heat exchanger and mabye some Pypes Long tubes

Not really sure, still sitting on table in the basement ; along with the Shaftmasters ds... Now I need to figure out what gears to go with... I had a PI triple disc in my 99 camaro... that car went 12.'0s on the motor and high 10's on nitrous (150 shot).. I loved the PI convertor... car ran consistent 1.60-1.64 60 ft on the motor and 1.57 on the bottle... That was on a ET Street's with lower control arms and a adjustable torque arm.... I just wanted to try something different and heard good things about them on S197 forum...
