TD300

I got BBK Long Tubes and a BBK OR X-pipe for Christmas last year and after reading Blacksmoke's thread on his rattle when idling it got me kind of worried because whenever i cold start my car and pull it out of the garage and let it sit and run, you can hear a rattle coming from underneath the car. i am pretty sure it is the drivers side header rattling against the heat shield, which asks another question, do you guys have a header touching a heat shield anywhere?

Also whenever i start it up (cold start) i have to clear it out kind of (meaning giving it a little gas and it'll pop and crack a little a few times is this ok to do? if it isn't good i have found no better way of making it not jerk and jerk and jerk whenever i pull out and get above 10-15 for the first time. it seems kind of like a miss but not quite...

all this seemed to happen after the header install so any answers would help out... im not too terribly worried about it because its been doing this for 11 months now and still screams and hasnt crumbled to pieces yet..

Sounds like separator plate rattle (TSB).
