Default Axle-Back Exhaust (Muffler-Delete) Reviews

Okay so I am looking at some axle-back kits to replace my stock exhaust on my 2007 GT. So far I have decided on getting a muffler-delete kit for the sound and extra few HP. Has anyone installed a muffler-delete system, because I would like to hear some opinions on how they sound. I myself have been looking at the (Pypes Muffler-Delete Axle-Back Exhaust) system but i was hoping to get some reviews before ordering it.
Thanks

axle backs won't change the hp.
deletes by themself sound pretty good, but when you take the cats off, not that great.

I'm running the Pype Bombs on my 2010GT. They sound fantastic, but they drone at 2k a little, and at 2500-2700 a lot.

I did the Roush muffler deletes, and I loved them for about a week, then I gradually fell out of love with them, just because they were REALLY loud when you were on the throttle - anything above 1/4 throttle. Anyone I had in the car with me gave me the look- like the uncomfortable and sad look at me- "why is your car this loud?" Look

Oh And they Droned

FWIW

American muscle has some sounds clips on their website of muffler deletes. Not to hi jack or anything though, but i wanted to add a question about getting an e-test with them? i was told somewhere you can be denied from getting an e-test without propper mufflers?

It's all of a 30 minute job to swap axlebacks out on these cars if you have a 13mm and 15mm ratcheting wrench, don't even have to jack the car up, so for what it's worth, you could always swap them pretty quickly to go get the car tested and swap them back later that day. (I used to do that with the catted H-pipe on my fox-body for inspection every year.)
