SO i am lookin on to comp cams and i am wondering what is the stock gear ratio on my 09 gt/cs . ?

My 09 gt /cs had 3.31 gears. I believe they will either be 3.31 or 3.50something. You can go under the back of the car and look on the round housing and what you have will be printed on a little white sticker. I believe there is a bar code on there too. I plan on getting cams too and switched to 4.10s BC apparently you loose low end power when you upgrade the cams. Someone else can ellaborate or correct me if I am wrong abt the cams.

It should be on the axle bell housing as stated above. There's also a code on the placard on the door jam which includes the OE axle ratio. Of course, if you bought the car used, anything can be in there in which case you can figure it out with a GPS and one of the available spreadsheets where you input your tire size, tranny type and gears and it spits out speed. Plug in the various gear options to match the speed you record.

I think in 09 Ford had three factory gear choices 3.31, 3.55 and 3.73.
