Solid 10x10x10 blocks is a whole lot different than typical cinder blocks. I suppose I'd be ok with that. Except now I think you should have kept going higher so you could work underneath while standing up. Now THAT I'd like to see. Of course, I'm not sure where you'd put the bracing to keep it from swaying... LOL!

You just gave me an idea for an epic prank, lol. I jacked from the pumpkin and the k member once I had it on jack stands.

There is a company called "Darwin" that makes jack stands. Their products were featured in this photo shoot.

I ended up buying some good sturdy 6 ton jack stands. The advantages of getting 6 ton over 3 and 2 ton is that you can get a lot more height and they definitely are a lot more sturdy.

Just make sure you get a good quality jack that will go up high enough so you can take advantage of the height the 6 ton stands can provide. I think my 6 ton stands can go as high as 24 inches.....though you probably only need to go about 20 inches on just two stands and you should be able to get under the car and go back as far as the H pipe and change out your exhaust.

I would recommend a 3 or 3.5 ton jack....a heavy duty one.

those that used ramps. How did you get the axle drop needed to install this exhaust? I had to jack my car up pretty high to get the axle to drop low enough to get the bend over it.
