2nd gear grinding

wondering if anybody else has this problem.it grinds second at high rpm let the rpms come down and its fine.installed a tri ax shifter has this any thing to do with it?doesn't look like it has any adjustments or is the sencrow whiped?

What year is it? there are TSB's for syncro problems in some of them.
