Question Kooks Headers w/ Roush Charger

Ok,i just installed a Roush M90 on my 08' Gt. It runs really well but before i purchased the M90 i got a set of Kooks LT's & catted x-pipe but never put them on.My question to everyone is if you guys think it is worth going through the trouble of installing the LT's & x-pipe? dont know how much of a hp gain i would get? please let me know if you have any info or suggestions! i can get a tune for the LT's if i need to so thats not a big deal. Thanks

First u will need to make sure that the cats that u have are metallic or ceramic. Ceramic will melt then clog and then blow your engine. Metallic are made to handle superchargers.

Then who ever u have tune your setup make sure they are reputable.

I will check on the cats to see what the insides are made of. I bought a SCT Tuner from American Muscle w/Bama tunes doing tuning. Dont know much about them cuz before i could use the tuner i put on the Supercharger & Roush did the tuning.U know much about the tuning from Bama/American Muscle? Thanks for the response!!

bama wont tune for FI cars to my knowledge. You will need to go through JDM or VMP for a tune on a FI car, especialyl roush. i looked aroudn a lot and settled on VMP.

with the 500hp kit and the LTs, you should be right at 450whp with a 93 oct. tune

Thanks,i just checked with Kooks & they said i should just have it dyno tuned once i put the headers & catted x on. the cats are metallic but Kooks said that the two year warranty wil be void if they blow due to the tune. i will have to check into tunes & see where to go.this s$@# sure is getting complicated!!!
