4.6L 2010 GT VS. 2012 GT?
Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but: Is it smarter to get a 2010 GT or a 2011 GT? My V6 has some rather serious problems and I am going to argue with the dealership to give me a different Mustang, and I want a V8 this time. Is it better just to ask for a 2010 GT instead of a new 2011/2012? I know it has more HP than my 2011 V6 and it has way more torque, so either would be good. Still, is it dumb to not ask for a 5.0?

I would go with the 2011 GT...what's the problems with the V6? Regardless of of a 2010 or 11 GT, your probably gonna have to come up with more money. What's the story?
You think you can just go down to a dealer and convince them to give you a new car because yours has had multiple problems? That's not the way these things work, lemon law or not.
No offense, but you've been getting bad advice if that's what your basis for exchanging a V6 with a V8 is. Unless the dealership is an anamoly, you're in for one hell of a letdown.
^^^I should say so lol
yeah, let me know where that dealership is at so I can turn in my 2010 for a 2012 boss :)
In any case, what problems is the V6 giving you?
Are you expecting them to give you a v8 or are you saying that you want to trade in and buy a different one?
So? How did it go?
Waiting to hear the story on both what all is wrong with the car, AND what the dealership said when you asked for a new one lol..........:icon_munching:
