Default battery? draw?

hey guys, 09 gt manual and the car seems to be struggling to start after sitting for couple hours. had two batteries replaced in the past month, by ford. bad batch of batteries? or do you think something is actually killing the battery?

sounds like it may have have a draw! or maybe the alternator is not charging properly

Our S197's are notorious for battery discharge issues. To begin with, the OE MotorCrap batteries are just that: crap. But I find it hard to believe that 2 of those batteries died. Perhaps they were from the same lot. Also, once a battery starts going south, our alternators seem to have issues and then it's a catch-22 from there; alternator affects battery, battery makes the alternator work harder, one or both fail.

I'd have your alternator load tested to rule that out. If it checks out ok, look for a draw issue. With normal loads, you should be drawing somewhere roughly 100-200 ma tops.
