Default Car Won't Start!! (Tuning)

So... I used the SCT tuner to tune my '06 Mustang GT to 91 octane. Other than that it is pretty much stock. Anyways, I put 87 octane in it yesterday, and used the XCAL to return it back to stock. Now it won't start and it flashes a ton of error messages on dashboard. I tried to return it back to 91, but now none of my tunes are showing up on the tuner. And when I try to "return to stock", it says that my vehicle is already stock. Any Ideas?

Where did you get the tuner from? Did you backup your tunes to your PC?

Have you tried putting one of the tunes (not the stock one) in? You should have at least a "stradegy" tune from SCT in there?

Mine messed up during an upload one time and I loaded another tune to "reset" things.

Unfortunately, I didn't back up the tunes. And I can't upload one of the other tunes, because they somehow disappeared off of the X3. And when I try to do the strategy tune, it says tune failed, and gives some error message. (sorry I'm not at my car and don't remember the exact message). I can't remember where I bought the tuner, it was off of some online store, I only used the pre-loaded tunes from SCT

disconnect negative battery terminal, wait 30 minutes, hook
back up and then try to start the car. if that doesn't work
you'll need to get ahold of another email tune, load it to the
X3, then attempt to flash the vehicle.

Are you the original owner of the car? If not, you may have already had a custom or canned tune installed. I always shudder when I hear about folks buying tunes from places other than Brenspeed and AM, including the canned tunes from SCT...

Well, I got her started. Apparently there was a bug in the version that I had on my SCT tuner. I called up SCT this morning, and after explaining to the tech what happened, they had to send me a recovery tune. Installed recovery tune, and she fired right up. To answer Nuke, I am not the original owner, but I bought the vehicle from Ford. I am pretty sure there was no tune on it, but I guess its possible. Either way, I just bought a turbo for it, and Im not messing with the tune anymore until after the turbo install. Thank you all for your comments, its greatly appreciated
