Smile Tune up for a 06 GT

What is the best things to do for a tune up on a 2006 GT? I've already changed the spark plugs awhile back. She has about 78000 miles on her. I'm moving and want to do this before I move. Any suggestions will help. Also has anoyone had problems with the spark plugs breakig off in the head? And is it mainly Motorcraft sparks plugs that do that? I replace them with Champion plugs. What are the best plugs for the car? Thanks!!!!!!

What about your serpentine belt? You're probably close to needing this.

Have you had your fuel filter replaced? Brake fluid flushed? Radiator fluid should be good for 100k miles, but if you're doing a bunch of maintenance, what's a couple jugs of radiator fluid gonna cost?

As far as plugs, the breakage is not strictly with the Motorcraft ones, it is any 2piece designed ones. The champions should be good to go if you got the 1 piece ones.

Is your suspension stock? The struts could be showing wear. I had a blown strut on my Pontiac G6 with only 20K all highway miles...

I would be interested to hear opinons on this as well. I'm getting ready to take mine in for a "from the ground up inspection/fix everything that might be wrong". I've got about 101k of mixed driving on her.

Also, replace the engine and cabin air filters, replace the PCV valve, check the ball joints, and lube all non-sealed steering linkage, suspension joints, and driveshaft joints.

Get a K&N air filter cleaning kit.
It can go up to 50K miles before a cleaning is required. More frequent cleanings are needed in poor air quality conditions(dusty roads, etc.).

How do I know if they are a 2 piece of 1 piece? I know they are they plugs that have that long sleeve on the end. They look just like the Motorcrafts ones I took out of her whe I replaced them.

If they really were Champions, they're one piece. You're good to go!
