Default When to change spark plugs?

I was looking in the maintenance interval booklet that came with the car and it says nothing about when to change spark plugs. When should this be done?

Also, I understand that the original design is in two peices ans sometimes break off in the head. Should I buy the new Champions or will the dealer have them? Should I print out the TSB or would they know of the issue?

I am coming up on 50K miles. What should I do? Thanks!

I feel your pain. 54k and debating at least doing it and getting new ones in with anti-sieze (not on the threads though) so further mileage won't cause any sticking in the heads.

I'm personally staying with the stock plug design because they're proven to work in the 4.6 and I have the time and patience to remove and check them every 10k or so.

Googling is completely of no help because it's 50/50 with people liking the Champion one piece...and then you have those that swear it's junk and you will cause the universe to collapse in a fiery ball if you put a champion within 100 feet of an engine.
