(Mom's repost of): Doing a project 4 school on 2005 Mustang GT NEED HELP PLEASE
Hi. My name is Gabriel. I'm nine and in the 4th grade and the 2005 Mustang GT is my favorite car. I really love cars and like to watch the Speed channel and read car magazines and car books but the 2005 Ford Mustang GT is my number 1 favorite so far right now. I am doing a school project and picked the 2005 Mustang GT as my subject. I have to make a collage demonstrating how the different parts of the Mustang work together like a system to make the car whole. You know like as if I was building the car from sctatch what would be the best list of parts you could give me to make it turn into a whole running vehicle. I mostly need a list of the parts that are used under the hood that work with the engine to make the car run. Um, I already have pictures of the frame of the car, and the seats that can be put in it and pretty much a lot of parts that make the car look good, but can someone please tell me the names of all the parts that are under the hood like what type of engine it would have or does it have a radiator or like if it is a stick shift is the clutch all one piece (like it is on a Lancer my mom said) or does it start out as a kit where it has the clutch separate from the flywheel and that other part of it, but like I need all the under hood parts listed cause I just can't think that long to think of all of them. Even like the fuel pump and air filter or the alternator (I think my mom said) if it has one, you know everything. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING!!! I HAVE TRIED LOOKING EVERYWHERE ON THE WEB TO FIND A LIST AND NOTHING NOWHERE...SO THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Hi Gabriel
There are hundreds of parts literally all your fingers and toes times five and then some. Your best bet is to go to a source like Wikipedia and just look for general information on internal combustion engined cars. While the design of the parts might vary they are more the same than different.
You might also search the web for exploded views of cars. That might give an idea of what you looking for and how to simplify your project.
