Default last planned modifacation

let me start with what I have! I've got a CAI w/ tune, UDPs, ram induction hood (major headache), O/R Mac Prochamber mid pipe with axle back exhaust and running pony floor mats (good for 15rwhp) and to finish my Pony off I want to get a 1pc aluminum driveshaft, 3.73s or 4.10s and a TCI rachet(sp?) shifter! I don't want to swap out any internals or go F/I - I'm wondering what everyones thoughts are on the gains i'll see from the last set of mods, i'll have them all done at once (shop wants $2,600 for parts and labor)

Did you get the "major headache" fixed?
The driveshaft will be nice....less clunking and it will seem to rev faster.
The 4:10, if you choose them will give you a lot of grunt and shorten your rear tire life
The shifter will just be driving pleasure.
Have fun with it!

I cant speak for the driveshaft or ratchet shifter, but i had my 4.10s installed this week and it woke the car up like you wouldnt believe, i recommend them strongly. They say dont fear the gear, and i dont think i would have been happy with the 3.73s. Anyway, it sounds like a good list to me, i hear great things about the shifter, im looking into one myself. Good luck bro.

the "head ache" hasn't been solved yet - still have that card board in place right now... this weekend or next I'm getting under the hood with some sheet metal and seeing what I can make happen.

I would trade the driveshaft for a torque converter bro. You will get waaaaaaaay more seat of the pants and time gains with it over the driveshaft with an a/t...and the tci is sweet, you will love!

It's been said before by a wiseman...if I could do 3 mods to an auto, they would be...
CAI/Tune
Gear
Torque converter

torque converter over a 1pc aluminum driveshaft eh? maybe I'll just do both and throw a trans cooler in the mix while I'm at it - I'm trying to end my car modding on a high note, I don't mind throwing the money at my baby if the mods are going to put the power to the road!

Ditto.. if there was anyway to get all 280 auto trans whp to the ground, this would be the best bet

I would add a drive-shaft and cams to top it off

You may not run bottom 12's but possibly mid-high 12's with MT ET Streets ain't too shabby..
