Horsepower

Hey guys, I have a question for all the gear heads out there? I am wondering if anyone has an idea what kind of horsepower my 08' Stang will be putting down after all of my mods? I recently put on a Roush M-90 Charger,Pypes Violator axle backs,Kooks L/T headers w/Catted Racing x-pipe,Accel coil on plug packs, & the VMP 500hp kit? I havent recieved a couple of the parts yet but just pickin everyones brain to see what kind of HP its gonna be puttin down because ive dumped a $&!#@*#! of moni into it lately!! Any input will be greatly appreciated !! Thanks.

My guess is you'll be putting around 440ish to the rear wheels, and a bit lower rating of torque.

Nice choice of mods :)

I recall guys with the M-90 stating they were at about 390-410 RWHP. The LT's may bump that another 20 or 30 with the M-90, the COPs might be a minor help and I'm not familiar with the VMP 500HP kit so my guess would probably be way off.

Who's doing the tune? VMP?

Tune and boost (pulley size for superchargers) make all the difference. After you get all your mods on, get it tuned on a dyno.

With all of your listed mods and how much power the stock block can take, I have one of the most powerful M90 equipped cars and I'm at 480 rear wheel HP. There are a few that have installed a de-tuned TVS 2300 blower on the 4.6 and make around 530 rear wheel HP and it has stayed together. The tune is the biggest issue when pushing the limits.

Don't forget that at some points when you go higher, you need to start thinking about internals and a clutch.

I know, thats why i was wondering about the hp. I want to make sure i dont go too high as im not reali ready to do internals yet! Want to enjoy the mods ive done for a little bit before i have to turn anymore wrenches on it!! Seems like i spend more time putting parts on this thing than i do driving it!!

Seems you should know a lot about the M90 tuning so i will ask this. I was told that what im getting done to my car is about all i can do to an M90 charged 4.6. Was told after this i will need to upgrade to a bigger & better charger & do internals. Is this true from what u know & have expierienced?
