In the PDF it says you need to purchase new vct solenoid bolts from Ford because you cannot re-use them. Ford did not know ecactly what I was talking about and I was wondering why we cannot re-use them. Did anyone else have to change these bolts or know anything about them

since you are talking about a cam change, it sounds like you are
asking about what is called cam phaser bolts. the cam phaser bolt
is technically one time use and it holds the cam itself to the phaser
assembly.

Okay thats what i was wondering cuz in the pdf it says vct solenoid. Will the comp cams phaser bolts work w the ford hot rod cams?

these are the bolts you need (2). if the comp cams bolts
are the same then you are good to go.

It's the same bolt. And yes you need new ones, one time use only.
