I know I've hear this before, that cams can lower gas mileage... but mines been like 8 mpg haha and i always go with performance first but I was just wondering if this is normal. But I love my cams between the sound and the huge difference in power

8mpg seems super lower, run a datalog with your tuner to see why its using so much fuel. Could be running super rich.

I get 17 mpg with my cams and mods. You got something dead wrong going on son.

My average tank went from ~23mpg to ~19mpg when I did the mods in my sig. That includes a lot of highway driving. I don't drive it a lot, so I try to make it count when I do. Just idling around town, my car will get 12-14mpg.

The question no one is asking is: what is your average throttle position? Cams have a tendency to move it closer to 100% more frequently

I don't think I could get gas mileage that bad if I tried. Are you calculating the mileage or going by the computer?

I would wager that you have a problem, unless you regularly do 5mph.
