Default Le Mans Stripes

Was wanting to know if anyone currently had these stripes on their car and how they looked... My car is an 05 GT satin silver and was thinking about getting blue. Does anyone have any suggestions or any thoughts on how this would look on my car.

I have seen blue stripes on a satin silver car. It looks ok to me. Gloss or flat black looks way better IMO.

Freshman4life05, I really like blue stripes for a satin silver Mustang, personally. Like mentioned above, gloss or flat black would also look good. Do what ever catches your eye first! Again, I'm a fan of blue stripes on a satin silver GT. Good luck with your decision, I know things like this can be tough sometimes!

Thanks everyone for the quick responses... I have also been thinking about black stripes, but they are extremely common on silver cars... Timmbo the red stripes on your car in your sig look sick, I am a huge fan of black on red, but idk how that would look on my car...

Anyone have any idea what I would end up payin a shop to install these? I don't have a garage to let the car sit for awhile after install, also don't have anywhere to do the install out of direct sunlight... Not to mention the patience for a job like this lol

I would suggest having one of the generous members in the "chop shop" section mock up a photo of your vehicle with the options you are considering. I, like Shane, am a fan of blue stripes on Satin Silver's but you may not be. If anything, you'll at least gather an idea of the possible outcome with the options you are considering. Usually runs you about $200-600 depending on the shop and whether or not you remove the stripes/residue for them. Worth taking your time and doing it yourself if you ask me. Consider investing in a 3M eraser wheel or a blow dryer and lots of goo gone/ultimate compound if you are planning to remove them yourself, lol

I could more than likely do it myself, but my worry is it sitting in direct sunlight after the install. Would that not mess it up?
