Looking to exceed the 500rwhp barrier..

Wow, reading all of this makes me think twice. Be interested to see what 908 has to say since he made that comment earlier but, damn.. I am looking at all of things needed to do and, it's no so much a money thing but, a reliability thing. I am taking the car to a point it doesn't even resemble what it came with. I think 650 does sound more logical here. If I want more I guess the best option would be to sell this one day and get a 2013+ Shelby. For now though, I'm satisfied getting a new rotating assembly and tranny with the gt500 pumps and a tvs2300..lol

You know, I'm at about that same level... yep, I should have started with a GT500, but at the time it seemed out of my price range. By the time I came to that realization I was already in with full suspension, supercharger and body/paint. And by that time I liked the style I had created a whole lot more than the base GT500 and would have had to put in over 10K on a GT500 to get to where I was anyway.
There are price points at horsepower levels where the cost jumps 500 is one where you need forged internals, 650 is another where you need a bigger blower. I am at 502 right now with a whipple on 11PSI with the stock block/internals, I could probably get 650 out of the current whipple with an overdrive pulley (and forged internals)... but I'm seriously considering going beyond that, so the 2.3 whipple is not enough to do that, would need something bigger, or turbos.
At least I've been supporting the North American economy... Supercharger, Tremec transmission, Mcleod clutch, SHR stuff, Cervinis, Roush, Saleen, Borla, JBA, and local labor.

Yea sell the M90 to me lol and buy the forged assembly kit and TVS
Livernois Forged rotating assembly goes for only $1499 now:
http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/...ssemblies.html
Expensive to install but maybe you can post an ad and find a SOUND mechanic that has all proper tools and experience that is looking for a side job to make extra money. Ask him his experience and even some referral's that can speak in detail about his work and expertise. Theirs probably guys here on this forum you could drive and drop off to that have done this and could use a couple grand in their pocket that love working on this specific car
Just an idea

UPR's 2010 GT Vert has a JDM 3V stroker with a Roush TVS2300. It makes 701rwhp through the 5R55 automatic. I'd expect that number to be closer to 750 with a manual trans. It's more power than you can use on the street, and it's more or less what the OP is looking for.
I say go for it, if you can afford it.
