Who is bobcat and what is his experience in tuning the computers in a s197? I can't imagine anyone knowing more about adjusting the tune on these cars than brenspeed, tillmanspeed, vmptuning, etc.

Lund is widely considered to be the best tuner for Ford modulars. There are quite a few tuners who are excellent but don't embrace the internet as much as the places you mentioned and therefore don't get the notariety. James from RWTD tuning and Cody from Stang-Hi come to mind.

Bobcat is Lund? James sounds like he knows what he's doing, but they don't even have a website anymore. From what i've read they are hard to get in touch with.

No offense, but I don't want some hobbyist tuning my car, which is what Bobcat seems to be.

So.....basically because you've never heard of him, he's a hobbyist?

He's the owner of our local forum and has owned his shop for as long as I've known him. This is all he does. His reputation in this region is impeccable and not something I could express here. He is very successful, and has earned his success through that reputation.

Never heard of this Bobcat, but he might be a good tuner. Yeah, James is damn near impossible to get in touch with. I started going to Stang-Hi after giving up on getting a hold of him.

You would rather have a generic custom tune from someone that had never even seen your car than a custom tune that is customized for your car based on data-logging and a wideband? Okay....

Blue springs could also be H&R, they are most likely marked with the manufacturer.

The exhaust is driving me nuts. I'ts catback, not axle back. I cannot find a brand anywhere, even managed to get my camera phone to take a pic of the top of the muffler and I don't see anything. I'm wondering if they are some kind of factory option.
