2006 Mustang Harmonic Balancer Removal
I'm having trouble stopping my engine from turning on as i try to take off the harmonic balancer. I was told you can stop it in automatics by holding the bolt on the torque converter. Does any one know where this is? Do have to jack up the car to get to it?

Converter bolt, maybe. Flywheel teeth, better chance.
Take that giant rubber plug out in your picture, the flywheel should be right behind it. A large prybar jammed inbetween the teeth and the trans case will work.
FYI, the balancer bolt is a 1 time use bolt. Once you take it out, it's no good anymore.
2nd FYI, if you don't have access to air tools, you'll likely need to put a pipe over a breaker bar for some serious torque. They aren't exactly loose.
