Default Crank pulley bolt help

I'm in the middle of installing a Procharger on my car (05 GT), and for the life of me I cannot get the crank pulley bolt off to install the prochargers pulley on top of it...will the harmonic balancer removal tool remove the bolt as well or is it for use after you already have the bolt removed? I've tried a breaker bar and an impact & it won't budge at all. Help!!

The puller is just for the harmonic balancer itself, not the bolt. The bolt is just going to take more elbow greese. If you have the arm of a floor jack, slip that over a 1/2 drive ratchet and give it a crank. Ensure you have something holding the motor so it doesn't just turn over on you.

Bolt is one time use only FYI. Buy a new one when you replace.

I used a jack handle as a cheater but it didn't work, I may go grab a huge pipe to slip over it. Procharger provided a new bolt so no problem there...car is in reverse with e-brake set, even had a buddy mash the brake pedal down and it still wanted to crank a little.

i had trouble with mine too. had to set the compressor up to 140 psi (the max recomended for the impact wrench) and it still took a good 30 seconds. Good luck trying without 1 =D

Put it in 4th or 5th gear and try in again.

Haven't kept up with this thread, I got it with a cheater bar over the breaker then bracing it against the ground then bumping the starter with the injectors/plugs disconnected. Had no luck with an impact in 5th or reverse.
