I have a very serious problem with my Mustang GT and any help would be great. I have an 06 with a manual transmission and it won't shift into any gear. The engine runs, but when it runs, I can't shift into any gear. When the engine is shut off, I can shift into any gear. Their is a heavy burned clutch smell when i discovered this problem and when the engine runs and gets revved a little. When I press down on the clutch, it feels like their less pressure then usual. Almost too easy to push down. Their is slight vibration coming from the engine. I did, however, get it to shirt into reverse once, but then my engine shut off. Did I burn my clutch to dust? Slave cylinder die on me? Any thoughts would help. Thanks!

You need a new clutch. Resurface or replace the flywheel as well.
