Can't you just remove the sensor light bulb ?

They're surface mount(SMD) LEDs.

Thought they were a good idea also, until I went to work in the morning and pulled out onto the street and the Stang didn't feel right. Yep, rear tire flat as a pancake and no sensor warning. Don't know what that was about.

We will see what the Motivos are all about soon.

Finally got SD 197 TPMS mounted on my new rims with new tires and the low pressure light is GONE!!!!

My dashboard looks empty now... I feel like something is missing lol

That cracking can happen to ANY summer tire.

Most come with a warning to not drive the vehicle in snow/ice or near freezing temperatures for just that reason. The compounds in the softer rubber have a potential to break down in near freezing/frozen temps.

Your Contintental Extreme DW tires come with such a warning.

Yep, Nuke summed it up.
Buy them, Have them installed and then make your car recognize them (you can either do it yourself, there are electronic tools you can buy or you can go to Tire Rack or Tire Kingdom and they'll do it for you)
