Low Tire Pressure Light on - How to get rif it?
So the previous owner of my 08 Mustang GT changed the rims but didn't put the TPMS back in the new wheels
SO now everytime I start my car I have the Low Tire Pressure coming on on my dashboard + a message:
- to get rid of the message I have to the reset button but I would like to know how to get rid of the Low Tire Pressure Light
Thanks for your help

I have a set somewhere, I have to find them, I'll send them to you, just Paypal me the postage/shipping.
They are off the 08' Bullitt wheels I bought for my car. The only thing they are missing are the attachment strap, I'm sure Discount Tire probably carries them since they cut them off to remove the sensors when I was having my new tires installed.
Typically you are looking at $60 labor to remove the tires from the rims and attach the sensors, remount and balance. Plus they may charge you $5 per sensor for a rebuild kit.
Or you can put a little sticker and cover up that low pressure light from your view

I saw something that I have been trying to find that tricks the system. You take a set of the sensors and put them in a PVC pipe sealed on both ends. Put a tire valve in one end, air it up to 35 lbs of pressure and program the system. Just toss it in the trunk and leave it there - some of the guys who have race wheels use it so they don't have the light catching their eye at the track.

I hears the "sensors-in-a-tube" trick doesn't work; others says it does. IMO, IF it worked, I think the tube would leak pressure and would have to be topped off pretty often, being as much a PITA than just hitting the reset button.

hahaha.. that's what I as going to say. OP - go to americanmuscle.. they sell a sensor, or something, that makes it work.
